Practical Instrument Electronics (PIE) is the a technology leader in process loop calibrators. Practical Instruments manufactures the leading edge in milliamp (mA), voltage (V), RTD, thermocouple (T/C), and multifunction handheld calibrators. Practical Instruments is focused on manufacturing accurate, durable, and precise calibration equipment which is easy to use.
The PIECAL Model 510B simulates RTD resistances into all types of instruments such as transmitters, recorders, controllers, alarms, data acquisition, and computer systems. The PIECAL 510B is a superior replacement for decade boxes, so there is no need to lug a decade box around or be prone to error by reading RTD tables incorrectly. The PIECAL 510B has better accuracy and functions of many higher priced RTD calibrators.
Practical Instrument Electronics (PIE) Model 535 brings you the features of the original Model 532 for 10-50 milliamp process loops. On power up you can select 4-20 or 10–50 mA. The EZ-Dial™ knob and EZ-Check™ switch are all that's needed to make quick adjustments or set 0% or 100% of full scale. The EZ-Step™ button provides one-handed stepping. Automatic stepping and ramping modes allow hands-free testing and calibration of the process loop with HIGH accuracy and repeatability designed in collaboration with Nuclear plants. The model 535 offers the optional analog output of 10mV/mA proportional output for connection to chart recorders and data loggers. With the Model 535, calibration is easy as PIE.
