The unit incorporates a colour coding system which divides the setting into three groups – µF = Red ηF = White ρF = Yellow The high accuracy obtained in the 1070 is achieved by the use of accurate, stable capacitors. A thumbwheel switch provides precision selection of output capacitance. A multiple gold contact switch arrangement ensures that should a contact fail, there is always a back-up contact available. A carrying case is available as an optional extra, and protects the 1070 when in field or industrial applications. This capacitance decade box is one of the Time Electronics precision decade box line. It is easy-to-operate, portable, and gives the user high accuracy and reliability.
